Early history of Zhuge ZhanEdit
Zhuge Zhan was raised in a Christian household in Seattle, Washington. His father was Buddhist and his mother was Christian. As a teenager, he stumbled across a copy of Arthur Edward Waite's "The Real History of the Rosicrucians," instilling a lifelong fascination with esotericism, specifically in Rosicrucianism.
The Rosicrucian FellowshipEdit
In 1938, Zhun moved out of his parents' home and joined The Rosicrucian Fellowship, against their wishes. Although Zhun didn't consider himself a Christian, he became a vocal proponent of The Rosicrucian Fellowship's belief in the forthcoming mythical "Age of Aquarius."
Ancient Mystical Order Rosae CrucisEdit
Zhun became disillusioned with with The Rosicrucian Fellowship and with Christianity in general. He moved to San Jose, California in 1942 and joined the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis.
While living in San Jose, Zhun met a school teacher named Amelia Grayson. They dated for several months and married in 1941. They
Zhuge Zhan was internned from 1942 to 1945.
Zhuge Zhan's pilgrimageEdit
Zhuge Zhan went on a spiritual pilgrimage from 1945 to 1953.
1945 - After spending five years in The Rosicrucian Fellowship, Zhan became to feel disillusioned and felt that
Zhuge Zhan founded the church in 1953.
He formed the headquarters at YEAR in PLACE.
